“Early morning, April Four, shot rings out in the Memphis sky.
Free at last, they took your life, but they could not take your pride!”
(Actually Bono, it wasn’t early morning, it was 6:01 PM – but we get the point)

In Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968

“Early evening April 4″ just doesn’t have the same ring to it… Did you guys make it to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis?

We went last year. It’s an amazing place. I don’t know that it had ever felt that real for me. Have you been?

Yep, we went last fall. I found the museum itself to be almost a sensory overload with all the displays but being in the place made it real for me too.
