The cabinets are installed. We might actually have running water in there tonight. The microhood is being installed as we speak hopefully. We should be able to start laying the floor on Monday. Things are moving along quite nicely finally.

Our biggest obstacle right now is that we can’t find any @#$*!~ tile that we like for the backsplash! We will be taking a road trip on Saturday to continue the search, since we’ve exhausted our options around here.

Well, there’s that and the fact that it’s all finally pushing my wife over the edge. She was actually moping around the house last night and again this morning muttering to herself, “I WANT MY KITCHEN BACK!” I’m just surprised it took this long.
