What’s on the iPod?

Ryan Adams & the Cardinals – Cardinology
Another extrememly solid effort from the prolific but hard to catagorize singer/songwriter from Jacksonville. Cardinology is at its core a rock & roll album rooted deeply in Adams’ influences of classic & country rock. Its not over-produced, its pretty simple, and its really good.
Will Hermes from Rolling Stone elaborates, “Drunk on melody, high on musical history, but all his own, the record throbs with great playing and singing, and thrums with hope without pimping easy platitudes. It’s one of the best things he’s ever done.”

I like that song but I don’t have anything recent from Adams. My ipod has plenty of Whiskeytown, though…

I do love the Whiskeytown!
If you were going to check out some newer Ryan Adams, I would start with this one & Jacksonville City Nights. But that’s just my opinion.
