Found this site looking for info on Ol’ Abner. I’ve heard him describe it before but don’t remember.

A couple of my favorites are intentional. “Stee-rike call” and ones like “fast ball strike, right down the middle, taken for a ball.” when he disapproves of the ump’s call.

My dad has been a rider his entire adult life, beginning in the military and continuing through his years on the CHP and after. He still owns a Honda 750. The wave is a gesture of acknowledgement between riders. The answer to your question is C, it is just some weird bike_riding etiquette. Not everyone does it, but most do. Of course you don’t do it when passing other people in cars or trucks because that’s just not cool. Get a bike, ride it and you’ll understand.

Thanks. I try to keep my comments brief & to the point because I’ve only visited most of these places once or twice each. With such limited exposure, I don’t feel like I can give a complete, comprehensive review. But I do know what I like… and I LOVE barbecue!

LMAO! I’m not a soup fan myself, although I’ll take a hearty bowl of clam chowder once in awhile.

Now Super Bowl…that’s different! I love football and I especially love the NFL when a team I can enjoy wins the big game. I’m not a Giant’s fan, but I like Eli. I don’t like NE at all, so the result of the game was excellent for me.
