Friday Five – Hop on Pop

This past Monday, March 2, would have been the 105th birthday of Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Growing up, Dr. Seuss’ books were a staple in our house. Willie and I loved them and read them constantly. I think part of the fascination was his use of fanciful characters and artwork combined with some really fun nonsense words. It was all very imaginative and different than anything we had ever seen or heard.

So in honor of Mr. Geisel’s birthday week, I have picked five songs that kind of go along with a few of our favorite books.
